Grilled Brats & Peppers

Ingredients

  • Mrs. Miller’s Mild or Hot Sweet Pepper Mustard
  • 2 TBS Mrs. Miller’s Beef Base
  • 4 Bratwurst Sausages
  • 1 Sweet Bell pepper, cored, seeded, and thinly sliced
  • 1 Green Bell pepper, cored, seeded, and thinly sliced
  • ½ Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 TBS Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 TBS Avocado Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 4 Hogie Buns

Instructions

  1. Par boil Brats with 2 tablespoons of Mrs. Miller’s Beef Soup Base.
  2. Preheat grill and place the Brats on the grill. Cook for 5 minutes, flip and cook another 5 minutes and allow to cook for five minutes. Turn and cook another five minutes to create char marks.
  3. Meanwhile in a large skillet, heat the Avocado Oil until shimmering. Add the Peppers and Onions – sauté until crisp tender.
  4. Stir in the Oregano and Red Wine Vinegar until evenly distributed.
  5. Salt and Pepper to taste.
    Serve the Brats in hearty Hoagie Buns with the Peppers, Onions, and a nice drizzle of Mrs. Miller’s Hot or Mild Pepper Mustard. Grab a few napkins – boiling the brats first makes them extra juicy!

Notes
