Easy Bolognese

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Cup Carrots, grated
  • 1 Cup Celery, minced
  • 1 Cup Onions, fine minced
  • 1 lb 80/20 Ground Beef
  • 1 lb Ground Pork
  • 1 Jar Mrs. Miller’s Chunky Italian Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 TBS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 1 Bag Mrs. Miller’s Wide or Extra Wide Noodles
  • Fresh Parmesan Reggiano, grated

Instructions

  1. Boil Mrs. Miller’s Noodles according to package instructions.
  2. In a large saucepan sauté the first three ingredients in the Olive Oil until just tender. Add the ground Beef and Pork and cook until browned, breaking up the meat it cooks.
  3. Add Mrs. Miller’s Chunky Italian Sauce to the mixture and simmer for 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Once the sauce has reached your desired consistency, add in your preferred amount of Heavy Cream.
  5. Toss Mrs. Miller’s Wide or Extra Wide Noodles in the sauce and serve piping hot with fresh grated Parmesan Reggiano cheese.
